Automatic slide synchronization: the primary tumor bed follows the first-to-last slide containing residual invasive carcinoma; the fibrotic tumor bed follows the first-to-last slide containing tumor-bed fibrosis; and DCIS follows its own positive slide range.
Tumor-bed mapping: the primary tumor bed is mapped within the fibrotic tumor bed, and residual invasive carcinoma is mapped within the primary tumor bed. DCIS remains spatially independent and can be placed within, at the periphery of, outside, or overlapping the primary tumor bed.
